Software for operations on the water.

Thalweg develops, owns and licenses its software. VigIA is the platform; anything built around it is built on the same foundations.

One screen for where the vessel is and how much water there is.

VigIA brings together what an operation needs to decide a transit: the position of each vessel or convoy, the hydrographic data along the route, the official sources behind it, and the alerts that follow from them. It is Thalweg’s own platform, built for river and maritime operations and deployed in phases.

  • Tracking

    In operation

Position of vessels and convoys reported over satellite, independent of mobile coverage.

  • Hydro

    Deploying · 2027

Hydrographic data for the route, with its history and its trend.

  • Fuentes

    Deploying · 2027

Official hydrological and cartographic sources, and a shared library of soundings.

  • Intelligence

    Planned · 2027

Alerts and operational analysis built on the three modules above.

Stated in phases, not promised whole.

  1. Satellite position

    Phase 1 · 2026

Reporting from units installed on board, ingested and shown on the operational map. In operation.

  2. Hydrography and sources

    Phase 2 · 2027

Hydrographic and weather data, plus the official sources behind each reading.

  3. Full platform

    Phase 3 · 2027

Alerts and operational intelligence across the whole data set.

Solutions built to order, when the platform does not cover it.

Not every operation fits a product. Thalweg also builds software to order on the same foundations as VigIA: ingestion of a fleet’s own telemetry, integration with the systems already in use, operating dashboards, and reporting that matches how the operation is actually run.

The work is contracted with the intellectual property clearly assigned from the start, and the company keeps ownership of what it develops for itself.

Telemetry ingestion
Reception, storage and display of position and sensor data from equipment already installed on board.
Integration
Connecting navigation data to the systems an operation already uses, in the format it needs.
Operating dashboards
Views built for one operation: the routes, the vessels and the thresholds that matter to it.
